Furniture finds!

The first thing we found on our furniture shopping trip was a chair for my sewing studio. I liked the style of this chair, but will get the jungle green color that was on the sofa, instead of the paprika color. It will probably take 8-10 weeks to get the chair because of the change in fabric color.
At the next store, we found this red chair which both swivels and rocks. It is extremely comfortable and we will put 2 of them in the family room in front of the fireplace with a small table in between so we can sit in front of the fire and eat our breakfast or read the paper. The red is similar to the red in the pendant lights that will be over the peninsula between the kitchen and family room. These chairs are in-stock items and we can pick them up after we move into the house.
At the next store we found our dining table and chairs for the family room. It is a cherry table and will extend to 104" when we need it to.
We also bought 6 chairs and chose this fabric for them. It picks up the red in the fireplace chairs and should go well with the Oyster Bay wall color. It will take 4-6 weeks to get the table and chairs.

We decided to see if our current sofa and loveseat will work in the great room. If not, then we can go shopping later and find something that will work in there.

We stopped by the house after our shopping trip. It looked like the painter had been there and had done some more plaster repairs in preparation for painting the walls, the garage had been swept clean, and there were a few more gutters in place, but other than that, nothing had changed.
