Shopping day!

We are headed to the stores today to look for a few pieces of furniture for the new house. We need to have a long rectangular table for the space in the family room and both of our current tables (kitchen and dining room) are oval. We actually sold our dining room suite as we don't have a formal dining room in the new house. (Although, if/when we ever sell the house the new owners could use the music room as a dining room.)

We also need some furniture for the great room, and some new stools for the penisula between the kitchen and family room. Other than those few items, I think we will make do with what we have.

Since we are headed in the general direction of the house to furniture shop, my guess is that we'll stop by there later today and see if they have gotten anything else done since we were there on Thursday night. My guess is that no one worked yesterday, but there might be someone out there working today.
